O good Jesus, humbly prostrate at thy feet, we beseech Thee, by Thy sacred Wounds, and by the precious Blood which Tho didst shed for the salvation of the whole world, deign to cast a glance of mercy on the people of Scaninavia who, having gone astray so many centuries ago, are still in the darkness of error, separated from Thy holy Church, deprived of the participation of the Sacrament of thy Body and Blood, and the other Sacraments which Thou hast instituted for the help of souls during life and at the hour of death.

Remember, O Redeemer of mankind, that for the souls Thou didst also endure the torments of death, even to shedding the last drops of Thy Blood.

Voursafe then, O good Shepherd, to lead those stray sheep back into the one fold, and into the salutary pastures of Thy Holy Church, that so they may constitute with us, one fold, under the guidance of the Roman Pontiff, Thy vicar on earth, to whom, in the person of the Apostle St Peter, Thou didst commit the care of feeding Thy lambs and Thy sheep.

O Jesus, hear our prayers; we offer them with entire confidence and trust in the charity of Thy Sacred Heart, to the praise, honour and glory of Thy Holy Name, for ever and ever.
